The Philadelphia Eagles improved to 5-0 with their win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, making them one of two remaining undefeated teams in the NFL.

While the Eagles have looked a bit shaky throughout their early-season run, the fact of the matter is that they have not lost a game yet and are running out of chances to go on a skid.

So, most likely, Philadelphia will be just fine heading into the stretch run.

Still, adding some pieces ahead of the Oct. 31 NFL trade deadline would not hurt.

Here are two trade targets the Eagles should pursue after Week 5.

Hunter Renfrow, Las Vegas Raiders

One thing is clear for the Eagles: they really don’t have a reliable No. 3 receiver.

Yes, Philadelphia boasts one of the league’s most dynamic receiving duos in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith (although Smith has been relatively quiet thus far), but beyond those two, it’s slim pickings.

Jalen Hurts has not looked great this season, throwing six touchdowns and four interceptions while posting a modest passer rating of 91.4. Still solid, but far from the MVP-caliber campaign he enjoyed a year ago.

Could that be because he doesn’t have a reliable tertiary wide out?

Maybe not. Maybe Hurts really is just struggling and needs to find his footing. However, Philly should still check in on Hunter Renfrow.

Renfrow has largely been M.I.A. in the Raiders’ offense, having logged just five catches heading into the club’s Monday night matchup with the Green Bay Packers. However, it was just two years ago that Renfrow hauled in 103 receptions, so we know he is capable of producing under the right circumstances.

Do the Eagles necessarily need Renfrow in their receiving corps to make it back to the Super Bowl? Probably not, but his presence would certainly be beneficial, as it would provide Hurts with a dependable target in short and intermediate routes and help open up the field for Brown and Smith.

Budda Baker, Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals dropped to 1-4 with their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals this past Sunday, all but ending any chance the club had of contending for a playoff spot this season (and they really didn’t have much of a chance to begin with).

As a result, Arizona could try and sell off some pieces over the next several weeks, and prized safety Budda Baker could very well end up on the trade block.

Baker is currently on the injured reserve list with a hamstring injury, but he is expected back later in the season. The Eagles definitely have a hole at safety, and their pass defense in general is questionable, ranking 25th in the NFL.

Baker is one of the league’s best defensive backs when healthy, and he still has another year remaining on his deal. That would mean Philadelphia could bring him in without worrying about him bolting in free agency after just a few games.

The 27-year-old would probably be costly, but he would provide the Birds with their best safety since Brian Dawkins.

Right now, the NFC looks like a two-team race between the Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers, and Philly needs any advantage it can get. Acquiring Baker would be significant for sure.
