They might be facing off against hungry dogs, but I think the Philadelphia Eagles will surely run faster and take control of their second preseason game. The team knows wins or losses don’t necessarily matter right now, but that doesn’t mean they’re not hungry to win. The team hasn’t won a game since January, before that winning 14 regular season games. They are starving to get back in the winning column.
I think it’s honestly worth sprinkling money on the Eagles moneyline. It might not be a huge return on investment, but I think the at-home atmosphere and readiness to win makes this bet a lock.

I doubt you see a blowout from either team as both are figuring things out and using this time to experiment. Since both teams had two days of joint practices, it makes sense that they’re comfortable with each other’s strengths and weaknesses by now, so there won’t be much chance to see one team take a definitive lead over the other.
Last week, the Eagles lost by one point and the Browns lost by two, so I think this trend of close-margin games continues this week. Since I like the Eagles to win, it’s plausible that they win by less than a touchdown.

In two of three of the Eagles and Browns combined preseason games, this over would hit. Both teams would have to get at least 19 points this weekend for the over to hit, and that’s very doable for both teams with the offenses they possess.
