Barkley came up limping following a run on second-and-13 with 1:08 remaining in the game, which the Giants ended up winning, 31-28, on a late Graham Gano field goal.
Barkley went for X-rays on his ankle after the game and was in the locker room, almost despondent, amid the celebration, The Post’s Ryan Dunleavy reported.
Prior to leaving the game, Barkley recorded 17 carries for 63 yards, along with six receptions for 29 yards, finding the endzone twice.

Barkley needed help getting off the field and was seen limping on the team sideline as the Giants kicked in a go-ahead field goal with 19 seconds remaining to take a 31-28 lead.
Since being drafted No. 2 overall in 2018, Barkley has logged at least 13 games per season, with the exception of his 2020 campaign, where he tore his right ACL in a road game against the Chicago Bears, which was also in Week 2.
Barkley is coming off a season where he had a career-high 295 carries and ran for 1,312 yards, which was his first 1,000-yard rushing season since 2019, and he scored 10 touchdowns for the second time in his career.
He also caught 57 passes for 338 yards.
The Penn State alum, who also slammed his helmet in frustration after limping off the field Sunday, agreed to a one-year, $11 million deal with the Giants prior to the start of the season
