Paul Pelosi’s DUI Dashcam Video Released Hours After Guilty Plea

Authorities have released roadside footage of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband slurring his words following a drunken crash in California — just hours after he pleaded guilty Tuesday to a DUI charge.

He also told officers that he started drinking at about 7 p.m. and stopped roughly an hour later.

The dashcam video shows Paul Pelosi, 82, being interviewed by California Highway Patrol in the moments after the May 28 crash near Napa that left another driver injured.

In the video, first obtained by Fox News, Pelosi can be heard mumbling to an officer that he had a “glass of champagne before dinner” and also “a glass of white.”

The crash produced bruises on his hands

A DUI test later showed he had a blood alcohol content of .082% in the wake of the crash.

Officers responding to the crash after 10 p.m. said they found Pelosi in the driver’s seat of his 2021 Porsche Carrera, while the other driver — who was injured — was standing outside an SUV

Pelosi was “unsteady on his feet, his speech was slurred, and he had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage,” officers said at the time.

When asked for identification, officers said Pelosi had offered them his driver’s license and an “11-99 Foundation” card, which supports CHP employees and their families.

The emergence of the dash cam video came after Pelosi pleaded guilty to one DUI count through his attorney in Napa County Superior Court on Tuesday morning.

He will have to serve three years of probation as part of the plea deal. The terms of his probation include five days in jail, but Pelosi will be given credit for four days, Judge Joseph Solga said.
