The Eagles shook up draft night minutes before the Bears went on the clock, agreeing to a three-year, $96 million contract extension with A.J. Brown, making him the NFLβs highest-paid wide receiver.
The move comes almost two weeks after Philadelphia signed DeVonta Smith to a three-year, $75 million extension that put both players in the top five of the highest-paid list. Brown is now the highest paid at a $32 million yearly average.
With the news exploding as the draft begins, weβre looking at the national and social media reaction.
