The British female prison officer arrested after being allegedlyProsecutors said Abreu, who runs an OnlyFans account, knowingly took part in the raunchy video with Linton Weirich, a felon booked for an $82,000 luxury good heist in Kensington.
“De Sousa was clearly an enthusiastic participant who wrongly thought she would avoid responsibility,” prosecutor Tetteh Turkson said.
“This was a shocking breach of the public’s trust,” Turkson added.
De Sousa Abreu – who appeared at the hearing wearing white pants, a brown top and a matching white jacket – remained mum heading into Isleworth Crown Courthouse in west London.
She pleaded guilty to one count of misconduct in a public office, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.
She was granted conditional bail and scheduled to appear back in court on Nov. 7. Her lawyers did not immediately issue a statement.
The married mother was arrested earlier this month following a police investigation that identified her as the guard having sex with Weirich in the men’s prison last month.
De Sousa Abreu, who holds a Portuguese passport, was booked at Heathrow Airport trying to catch a flight to Madrid after calling her employers to say that she was not returning to work.
While she has remained silent over her arrest, De Sousa Abreu spoke up earlier this month to condemn porn stars who were pretending to be her on OnlyFans
and filming parodies of her video.
