Kylie Kelce stood her ground after a fan attacked her for refusing a photo.
Kylie and husband Jason Kelce were headed out for a low-key date night in Margate City, N.J., over Memorial Day weekend when a woman asked them for a selfie, according to Philladelphia-based podcast “Word to the Wise.”
The podcast, which obtained footage of the heated exchange, claimed the Kelces were either sitting in “traffic or in their car” when the woman tried to get their attention.
Multiple bystanders told the outlet that Kylie “politely” declined, causing the woman to go off on the couple.
“I don’t care who you are, you will never be allowed in this town,” the woman threatened Kylie, who replied, “I can smell the alcohol on your breath. You’re embarrassing yourself.”
Meanwhile, the former Philadelphia Eagles star stood several feet away from the confrontation and let his wife handle things.
Onlookers were adamant that “the Kelce’s did nothing wrong and were so polite,” according to “Word to the Wise.”
One X user who claimed to have witnessed the exchange said the fan was “rude as hell and banging on their car door” before the Kelces walked into the restaurant.
Reps for Jason and Kylie did not immediately return our request for comment and the couple has yet to speak out about the situation.
Although Jason let Kylie lead the charge this time around, the legendary center had some choice words for a troll who called Kylie nothing more than a “homemaker” earlier in the day.
After admitting that he and Kylie took issue with Harrison Butker’s controversial commencement speech, one user slammed the athlete as being “hypocritical.”
“Your wife is a homemaker,” the critic wrote. “But you can’t support butker. And your wife is a homemaker whose home is a mess. Sorry but it is dirty and messy on television.”
They concluded the rant by telling Jason he “ruined” his career and would be “left with nothing but swifties” as fans due to brother Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift.
However, the former football player didn’t hold back in his response, making it clear he views Kylie as much more than just a “homemaker.”
“I don’t think of Kylie as a homemaker, I think of her as my wife,” he replied. “I think of her as a mother.”
He continued, “She has an occupation, as do I, and we keep our house the best we can. Our marriage is a partnership, we are equals who are figuring it out on the daily. The only expectation is that we love each other, support one another, and are committed to our family, that comes first.”
He explained that they both work, clean and help raise their three daughters — Wyatt, 4, Ellie, 3, and Bennett, 14 months.
“It is both our faults it is messy, but such is life with 3 young children, busy schedules, and neither of us being neat freaks,” he continued.
“She also makes a mean sandwhich. If being a homemaker, works for some, and that’s what they want, then hell yea, that’s awesome, more power to you. I want to be clear, I’m not downplaying that at all, but that is not our family dynamic.”
