“Diddy” Combs reportedly flew to Washington DC, and met with a team of lawyers and lobbyists. One person close to him believes that the meetings were to prepare for a possible pardon.

We spoke exclusively with two people in the know, who told us that Diddy flew into the nation’s capital on Monday and spent the next 36 hours attending meetings with prominent DC lawyers and lobbyists.

One person with inside knowledge said that with federal charges likely against the former billionaire, they believed that the meetings were called because Diddy is “angling for some sort of a pardon” from the Biden administration.

Before the multiple scandals broke, Diddy had strong relationships with politicians in Washington. But it’s not clear whether his former political allies are willing to put their neck out to push the President for a pardon.

It’s also unknown whether anyone in the Biden administration would be open to any such discussions.

And there are exclusive receipts showing Diddy’s trip to Washington. Celebrity Gossip Website Media Take Out obtained the flight records for Diddy’s private jet. The records show that Diddy’s plane left Los Angeles on Friday, and flew to Italy for the weekend.

The plane then returned to the United States on Monday. But instead of flying to his other home in South Florida, the plane detoured in Washington DC, where it sat for nearly 48 hours. Afterwards the jet took Diddy to his home in South Florida.

Here is the flight plan for Diddy’s jet:
