Saquon Barkley leaving the New York Giants wasn’t a surprise.
The real shocker came when he signed a three-year deal with the NFC East division rival Philadelphia Eagles. That move was so unexpected that it left even Eagles offensive lineman Lane Johnson stunned.
On Monday, the four-time Pro Bowler appeared on NFL Network’s “The Insiders” and explained what it was like to team with Barkley, who spent the last six seasons playing for one of the Eagles’ biggest rivals.
“Once you see him, you’ll never forget, just a physically imposing guy. I think he walks around at about 230,” said Johnson.

Barkley is a major addition to a star-studded Eagles roster on both sides of the ball. He appeared in 14 games behind one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL and still managed to put up 962 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
Imagine what he could do now that he’s playing behind one of the best offensive lines in the league.
His versatility as both a bruiser on the ground and a reliable pass-catcher made him one of the most dangerous players at the running back position in New York. Anything close to that version in Philly could make the Eagles’ offense unstoppable.
