Eagles QB Jalen Hurts Spotted Getting Extra Reps With New WRs
|
Whether justified or not, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has had his leadership skills questioned ever since Philly’s embarrassing collapse last season.
Hurts is the last person to care what the critics say, but could now be silencing them anyway one step at a time as the season approaches.
As pointed out by the Eagles Nation account on X (Twitter), Hurts was seen getting some extra work in with his new receivers, rookie Johnny Wilson and veteran Parris Campell. Already possessing an elite connection with the star-studded duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, Hurts is clearly emphasizing building chemistry with the new arrivals.
Take a look:

Campbell, 26, was originally a second-round pick by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2019 draft out of Ohio State. He played four seasons in Indy, but was limited by multiple injuries that allowed him to appear in just 15 regular-season games across his first three years in the league.
As for Wilson, in four years at the collegiate level (two seasons each with Arizona State and Florida State), he tallied 102 catches for 1,757 yards and eight touchdown grabs.
He was the first Eagles draft pick to sign and will now look to make an impact in a depth role this upcoming season.
