Could Eagles Add Another Explosive Playmaker On Offense? Look Who Was In Town Monday
|
Could the Philadelphia Eagles be looking to add another superstar to their already explosive offense?
Maybe. Just maybe.
Because, on the same day that former Eagles running back Miles Sanders checked in at the Carolina Panthers’ facility, Texas running back Bijan Robinson posted on Instagram that he was in Philadelphia, and he was very close to Lincoln Financial Field, too.
The Eagles have are bringing back Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott in the backfield, and also signed former Seattle first-round pick Rashaad Penny. But Robinson is widely regarded to be the top running back in the draft.
And, with the 10th and 30th picks in April’s draft, it’s reasonable to think Philly could have a chance to add Robinson if it desires. Doing so would add another level of explosiveness to an offense that is already looking pretty explosive heading into next year.
Robinson ran for 1,580 yards and 15 touchdowns last season, and caught 19 passes for another 314 yards and two scores, too.
