Earlier this month, a judge dismissed a felony gun case against him for being a felon in possession of a firearm after he was arrested during a traffic stop in May 2023.
Boosie was in the car with another individual at the time of the traffic stop and two loaded handguns were found inside the vehicle. Boosie’s friend, Steven “Shorty” Duarte’s case, went to trial, and he was found guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm, but he fought the conviction and claimed the government violated his Second Amendment rights, and the courts sided with him, overturning his conviction.

Now the rapper is facing all of the charges again.
On X, Boosie slammed the judge, questioning why she didn’t go through with the charges the first time around.
“THIS SHOWS HOW FAR THESE DEVILS WILL GO TO TRY N STOP A SUCCESSFUL BLACK MAN WITH a VOICE .THIS MAN HAS A SERIOUS VENDETTA OF HATE AGAINST ME,” he wrote adding that the judge is a “racist” and has no respect for the court.
