Late last month, Brown called out his quarterback, Jalen Hurts , following an Eagles’ victory over the Carolina Panthers , saying that “passing” was the reason for the then-struggling offense.

On that same week, Philadelphia defensive end Brandon Graham fueled speculation that Brown and Hurts’ friendship was fading, with the three-time Pro Bowler upset with his lack of being targeted.

Bradshaw was tasked with analyzing the Week 16 matchup between the Eagles and Washington Commanders, and he made sure to call Brown “selfish” for the drama.

“I hate a selfish player. I am a quarterback and I cannot stand people that are selfish,” he said on the pregame program.

Bradshaw then complimented Jayden Daniels and his abilities which has led to the first-year quarterback being the favorite to earn the 2024 Rookie of the Year award.

The 76-year-old wasn’t afraid to reveal who he was rooting for thanks to Brown.

“I’m actually so upset that I’m pulling for Washington, just because of that,” Bradshaw added.

He would be glad to find out that Daniels led a 57-yard game-winning drive to help the Commanders claim the 36-33 win on Sunday.

Daniels completed 24 of his 33 passes for 258 yards and five touchdowns.

The LSU product also added 81 rushing yards.

Unfortunately, the Eagles lost Hurts early in the contest due to a concussion.

Philadelphia brought in Kenny Pickett to replace the quarterback.

Brown recorded a season-high 15 targets against Washington.

He posted eight receptions for 97 yards including a touchdown.

Brown became the first player in Eagles history to achieve three straight seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards since Mike Quick did so from 1983-1985.

The Commanders’ win pushed their record to 10-5 as they will face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football in Week 17.

As for Philly, they will host the Dallas Cowboys next week.

Their Week 16 loss likely ends their chance of earning a No. 1 seed and first-round bye.
